The list of the best-selling cars for September 2023 is out, and Maruti Baleno has secured the top position. Maruti Baleno remains the highest-selling hatchback in the Indian market. The second position goes to Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, followed by Tata at the third spot.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno leads the list with 18,417 units sold last month, followed by Maruti Suzuki Wagon R with 16,250 units.

The Maruti Baleno is priced between 6.1 lakhs and 9.88 lakhs INR (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. It offers four variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha, along with six monochrome color options.

Maruti Baleno is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine generating 90 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The CNG version of the car offers 77.49 bhp and 98.5 Nm of torque and is available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The company claims a mileage of 22.35 kmpl with manual transmission and 22.94 kmpl with the AMT gearbox. The CNG version offers an impressive mileage of 30.61 kmpl.
