Introducing the New Hyundai i20 N Line Facelift 2023: Hyundai’s Sensational Offering

In the realm of Indian car manufacturers, Hyundai Motors stands tall as the second-largest seller, right after Maruti. Hyundai Motors India recently unveiled its latest facelift for the i20, equipped with new features. But the real game-changer is the addition of the N Line variant, bringing exciting cosmetic changes and engine updates.

Exploring the Upgrades: Hyundai i20 N Line Facelift 2023

1. Redesigned Exterior:
The design of the Hyundai i20 Facelift N Line remains similar to its standard model but boasts several cosmetic alterations. It features a parametric grille design, N Line logo, and a front bumper with red accents. Additionally, the rear sports distinctive red elements, setting it apart from the standard model.

2. Head-Turning Lighting:
The i20 N Line Facelift 2023 presents a full LED headlight setup, a departure from the standard model’s LED projector lights. It also flaunts new 16-inch alloy wheels for the premium hatchback. For color options, it comes in a single-tone paint scheme, but dual-tone variants require additional payment.

3. Premium Cabin:
Inside the cabin, the N Line Facelift closely resembles the standard model but with a touch of luxury. It boasts an all-black interior theme with red accents on the steering wheel and N Line badging. The cabin features red ambient lighting, metal finish on pedals, and a new N Line-specific steering wheel and gear lever. Compared to the standard facelift, the N Line cabin exudes a significantly more premium feel.

4. Feature-Rich:
In terms of features, the N Line variant matches the top-tier models. It includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other highlights include wireless mobile charging, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, electronic voice assist, sunroof, a premium 7-speaker Bose sound system, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat, along with premium leather seats.

5. Safety First:
For safety, the i20 N Line Facelift offers six airbags, seatbelt reminders for all passengers, tire pressure monitoring, a reverse camera, automatic headlamps, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

6. Engine Specifications:
Under the hood, Hyundai has made significant changes. The N Line variant now exclusively gets a turbo-petrol engine, discontinuing this engine option in the standard variant.

  • Cosmetic Changes: Minor cosmetic updates, mostly in line with a regular hatchback.
  • Gearbox Change: Replaced the 6-speed iMT gearbox with a 6-speed manual unit.
  • Engine: i20 N Line features a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol unit producing 120hp and 172Nm of torque.
  • Engine Availability: The turbo-petrol engine is now exclusively available in the N Line variant, as Hyundai has phased it out for the regular i20 facelift.
  • Gearbox Options: Alongside the previously available 7-speed DCT, the i20 N Line now comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.
  • Sporty Touches: Like the standard hatchback, the i20 N Line comes with sportier exhaust notes, suspension setup, and rear disc brakes.

7. Price List for India:
The Hyundai i20 starts at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Below are the prices for all variants:
